In the classic game you target the computers ships and then the computer targets your ships. In Pocket BattleShip you target the computers ships but the computer does not target yours. You are allowed 25 misses before the game ends. The purpose of the game is to sink all the enemies ships. The playing board is an 8X8 board with letters a through h and numbers 1 through 8. The rows up and down are lettered and left to right are numbered. For example a2 is the first row and one column over to the right. 4.0 Script Overview The scripts needed to play BattleShip are quite simple. For online help use p chord h, or alt+h. To bomb a specific target use p chord t, or alt+b. This will ask you to enter the letter a through h and press enter. Then the game will ask you for the number to bomb 1-8 and press enter. Another script lets you read the status of a position on the board. Use p chord s, or alt+s. You will again be asked for the letter and number. Press p chord l, or alt+l to hear the status of your last target. Press p chord m, or alt+m to hear your misses. 5.0 Left to do There are still some problems with the scripts. The script that bombs the target and the script that read the status of a position on the board have a problem if you cancel out of the script either by tabbing to cancel or by pressing escape. Once you activate the scripts to bomb or read a specific position you need to complete the process. If you do not want to enter something just press enter it will retarget the previously targeted items and just read the status. If you are a scripter and know how to bail out of a script prematurely please send me an E-mail at: pturnage@pacmategear.com
